This stunning day in San Antonio, Florida took our breath away. Here are 5 key elements of a garden wedding that will help you plan your dream wedding.
1. Beautiful Venue with Outdoor Spaces
Choose a picturesque garden venue with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and charming landscaping. The venue sets the stage for the dreamy atmosphere. The vibe at The Colonial at Sunset was perfect for this garden wedding.
2. Soft Color Palette
Opt for a soft and romantic color palette that includes pastels like blush pink, lavender, and sage green, which harmonize with a garden's natural colors. We love this non traditional bridesmaids look with soft floral patterns and beautiful spring colors.

3. Outdoor Seating
Outdoor seating provides that perfect, "stroll through a garden" feel. This outdoor ceremony used beautiful white chairs with woven backs for the that looked stunning with the white pillars of the house. Opting for light colored seating like white or light wood fits perfectly with the garden feeling.

4. Lighting
Soft lighting like string lights provides the perfect dreamy feel for any indoor or outdoor space. Candles are also a beautiful touch that adds warmth to space and we love the ambiance that this combination provides.
5. Flowers, flowers, flowers
The easiest way to achieve a garden look is to not be shy with your florals. We love the way the ceremony florals anchored the altar sight and lined the aisle. It truly felt like the bride was walking through a garden down the aisle. The reception florals utilized a mix of bud vases and gold compotes which gave a natural, airy feel to the tables. And the head table featured a gorgeous statement piece which made it feel like greenery was blooming through the walls.
With these few key elements you can't go wrong planning your dream garden wedding.
We can't get enough of these photos and we hope you love them just as much as we do. Here are some more stunning images from this gorgeous spring day in Florida. Make sure to check out each vendor's instagram listed at the bottom of the page to see even more beautiful work.
